The TV, film and media industries are in dire need of additional manpower. It is estimated that there will be a shortage of around 30% technical hands over the next few years. At the same time, the media and broadcasting industry is an industry that lacks proper representation from both sexes. We lack female camera operators, editors, gaffers, etc. This is where the Medieakademiet comes in. In an inclusive environment, we’ll teach you everything you need to become part of the media industry. There will be workshops around post-production, camera technique, storytelling, how to set up lights - we'll cover it all. The best thing is that it is completely free and you only need to participate in what you are interested in. You also get the opportunity to participate in real TV productions; this is not just boring classroom work. You can drop in and out as you like - we are always here, ready to guide and help you with a future in the media industry.
Abot us.
We’ve pooled all our combined experience together to build the best possible paths into the media industry for you. Medieakademiet is a drop-in initiative, a place where you as a young woman can come in and gain experience in media production. We provide opportunities to learn everything about cameras, lightning, sound production and post-production. All in an inclusive friendly environment.
